+5 Years

5 Years From Now

If you guys don't already know, I am 17 years old and by the time I reach the lovely age of 22, I want to be able to have achieved and be doing many things.

I would love to be finished with college, or at least finish off some years of college. There are many different things I would love to be major on such as fashion marketing, design, interior designing, architecture, business marketing, graphic designing, advertising, producing, and many many more. I haven't set my heart in just one direction just yet. 

I would, also, love to be able to make a difference in the world. I want to be able to travel the 3rd world countries and help the people that live there, most of all the children in Philippines, because I have recently found out that most children live a life without names and security. That's just one 3rd world country! Imagine the lives of the ones that live in the other 3rd world countries. I was planning on joining/volunteering for the Peace Corps. 

I, also, would love to be famous enough that my voice matters. I want the world to know my opinions. Blogging here is a great way, but not a lot of people know about me(yet). I've been inspired by many, like Angeline Jolie, who has helped the world immensely but most of the people are blinded by the constant criticism she receives because of how many children she has adopted and HELPED. 

I will be writing about personal issues that bother on my blog, right here. So, just as a head up, my blog will not constantly be about fashion and trends, etc. But I will still be writing about that, don't you worry :)  

Just so you know, this blog will be about EVERYTHING I am interested about (and I'm interested in a lot of things, as you can tell by my many college major choices) 

So, basically, 5 years from now, I would love to have gone sky diving, scuba diving, been to Europe, visit at least 10 different USA States, finish a couple years of college(at least), have a voice worth listening to, have volunteered in at least 5 different 3rd world countries,  be a model, inspire many...

I'm not quite done with my plan. I know I'll constantly be back editing this blog post XP Just thinking about my future excites me, however, I also want to stay in my teenage years for as long as I can. Next year, I am going to be 18. I hope before then that my life will be way different than it is now. Of course, in a good way. Xxx- Christa

ELF Products

I haven't purchased any ELF products before and would really love to know what your guys' opinions toward them are! They seem really great for beginners who would like to start using makeup. They are very affordable and easily accessible. I can find these E.L.F. products at my local Target store. Most items usually cost $1.00! Which is really great for those who don't have a lot of "dough", such as myself.

What I would really love to know is which brush brand is better, Sigma or Elf? I have read from many other reviews that say the ELF brushes are amazing, and if that's the case, then why is the Sigma brushes more expensive? and why would more people buy them? Jeffery Campbell

Ever since discovering the Jeffery Campbell Shoes, I have tried my best to not spend money on anything (ANYTHING) unimportant until I save up enough money to purchase myself a pair of JC shoes. They are unbelievably amazing. They look so hardcore and not at all mainstream. If you don't already know, I am a shoeholic. I am obsessed with shoes! I was looking through tumblr during an oddly gloomy Summer afternoon when I see a pair of black heels called "Litas." As soon as my eyes sees the image of this beautiful object, the skies begin to clear and the bright sun shined through the window and unto the computer and suddenly, I hear this voice whispering to me over and over again saying "Buy me. Buy me. Buy me!" I'm just kidding!! That didn't happen at all. Except for the "discovering it in tumblr" part. Honestly, if all that happened, I would be terrified. Anyways, here's a couple pictures of the items from their collection and let the shoes speak for themselves.

Ombre Shadow

Shadow in French means Ombre. The 2012 Hair Trend for the summer is the beautiful "Ombre." It's when the color of the hair either gradually decreases or increases. The trend has been seen supported by many of Hollywood's beautiful women. Tell me what you guys think about this hairstyle.

I'm planning on getting my hair ombre'd but I'm not so sure what the color is going to be or if I'm positive I want to get my hair dyed. (I have never gotten my hair dyed before and I want to make sure that this is the right decision) My natural hair color consists of a base of dark brown with natural light brownish red highlights. I heard that it was unhealthy to get your hair bleached and dyed. I'm going to do some research on hair dyeing products and see if there is a brand that won't damage your hair. If you guys know of any, please leave a comment below.
